Freshers Show 2025 started the academic year with a chocolate-y bang! Our incredibly talented Freshers brought the wonderfully wacky world of Willy Wonka to The Annex stage in 'Charlie and The Chocolate Factory'!

World renowned Chocolatier, Willy Wonka, sets out on quest to find a sweet-toothed prodigy that can take over his factory. Taking the world by storm, five golden tickets are hidden in Wonka chocolate, with every child (and senior) wanting the chance to see inside the factory. 

We follow Charlie Bucket, a kind-hearted boy, as he dreams of becoming an inventor and seeing inside his idol's factory. One by one, his chances get slimmer, as we meet a series of ungrateful children winning the tickets: Gluttonous Augustus Gloop, Spoilt Veruca Salt, Fame-hungry Violet Beauregard, and Tenacious Mike Teevee. Encouraged by his Grandpa Joe to never give up, Charlie enters a world of pure imagination...
